YorStox have recently taken the reins of promoting short oval motorsport at Odsal Stadium, Bradford and Owlerton Stadium Sheffield. YorStox is led by two passionate families with the names of Robson and Andrews.
In 2021 under the banner of Startrax Oval Motorsport, Steve and Jackie Rees completed what many would call the unthinkable and they managed to re open Odsal Stadium for Stock Car Racing after a period of absence since 1997. The task was huge and we applaud Steve and his team for the work they did to get cars back on track. We are honoured to now take on the task of promoting at these two iconic stadiums.
2022 sees a packed fixture list of 27 events featuring full contact Stockcar and Banger Racing. Odsal will also be the home to the 2022 BriSCA F1 British Drivers Championship where the chequered flag roof will once again be battled for. Other noteable highlights include the BriSCA F2 World of Shale Final, the return of the National Saloon Stockcars and much more!
Bradford boasts some of the best hospitality facilities in the Stockcar world, the Southbank stand gives the unique view of the action unfolding right below you. The stadium at Bradford has some great viewing all around the stadium including a 4000 seated covered grandstand located close to toilet facilities as well as food and beverage outlets. Be sure to check out the trade stalls which can be found close to the turnstiles where you enter the stadium.
Going over the hill into Sheffield, we are keen to give Owlerton Stadium a boost of passion that many desire. No fewer than 7 events are scheduled in 2022 which is the most in a number of years. The stadium has a glass fronted heated bar where you can watch all of the action throughout the event. Upgrade options to the famous carvery are also available which can be booked on a meeting by meeting basis.
